Sustainable Development

Feeling powerless in our time with climate change? Our project Local and global approaches to liveable livestyles” takes a pragmatic approach to the most burning issue of our time: sustainable development. Students will be looking for ways to implement a sustainable lifestyle themselves, influence their own communities and policy makers regarding food production, diets, consumerism, traffic and energy use. They will learn about the climate challenges and solutions across Europe.

This Erasmus+ school exchange partnership involves five upper secondary schools from Austria, Finland, Hungary, Italy, and Wales, the UK with students aged 15 to 17 years. The participants will collaborate virtually online using TwinSpace and meet face-to-face in project meetings in each country. 20 pupils from the BRG Klosterneuburg are taking part in this project which lasts from September 2019 until August 2021.
