It is a pleasure and honour for me to inform the school community and friends of KlS about the IB results of the May 2019 exam session. With only 11 full diploma candidates, this year’s cohort is comparatively small – but impressive: Klosterneuburg students once again performed well above the global average with a pass rate of 100%, compared to only 68.73% pass rate according to the IB organisation. The average points achieved are 34.4 points (out of 45), slightly down from 34.8 KIS scored last year, but well ahead of the global average which is always around 30 (in 2018 it was 29.78). 27.2% of the students scored 38 points or higher, a score that opens the doors to the very best universities. Our best student is Ms Hannah Koch who scored impressive 43 points out of 45. Congratulations, so well done, Hannah!
Hearty congratulations to our class of 2019 for their great results!
