IB Students attend university fair

Attend­ing a uni­ver­sity fair is a great oppor­tun­ity for our stu­dents to meet rep­res­ent­at­ives from uni­ver­sit­ies from all over the world in one place. This year, the one place was Vienna Inter­na­tional School, where CIS Inter­na­tional Uni­ver­sity Fair Vienna took place. 160 uni­ver­sit­ies were present, from coun­tries like Japan, Canada, Singa­pore, the USA and many European uni­ver­sit­ies. Class 8B together with uni­ver­sity coun­sel­lor Ms Bar­bara Simons atten­ded the fair and enjoyed an excit­ing and inform­at­ive visit as the uni­ver­sity fair was not only about get­ting leaf­lets, but our stu­dents could talk to career- and admis­sions offices face to face. The most import­ant answers our stu­dents got were con­cern­ing study options, course con­tent and admis­sions. As many of our stu­dents plan to study abroad, visits like that form the basis for a suc­cess­ful applic­a­tion pro­cess.
