“I have been to many orchestral performances, but this was one among the best. I especially enjoyed the Radetzky march. The last musical piece, accompanied by a choir, was a pleasant surprise and a perfect ending to the concert.”
“The orchestra was genuinely excellent. The quality of the music can't be compared with music streaming. The moderation of the concert was brilliant too, I really liked the idea of letting members of the Wiener Philharmoniker speak. The Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber was simply breathtaking, I've never heard something this memorable before. The piece actually gave me goosebumps. I am hoping to hear many more concerts of the Vienna Philharmonics.”
“For me, this was the first time attending an orchestra-only concert and I was truly impressed. I was familiar with some of the pieces, but hearing them live was a whole new experience, enhanced by the room's acoustics. I really enjoyed the concert, especially the 'Radetzkymarsch' and the 'Wiener Sängerknaben' performance at the end.”
“I have already been to a few orchestral performances but the enchanting atmosphere was really outstanding.
You could feel it throughout the concert and that really amazed me. The beautiful musical pieces had my attention the whole time and the time flew by way too quickly.”
I was one of the best orchestral concerts, I've ever been to in my whole entire life. I loved the music and atmosphere. It is wonderful to have such opportunities like listening to the Wiener Philharmonics. Especially as someone who plays an instrument it is just magical to listen to someone playing such wonderful pieces so greatly. I enjoyed it very much.
“I really appreciated our experience at the Wiener Philharmoniker because I hadn‘t been to the Konzerthaus before. Usually I don‘t go to concerts a lot and especially not to classical music concerts, so this was something new and I enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone. Overall I like it if the school helps us to get to know new things.”
“It was very impressive and very moving! The “Romeo and Juliet” piece was the highlight for me.”
“I loved the connection between the musicians.I found it beautiful how they seemed to have become one single music note. It was chilling. The vision of the bows moving up and down in harmony, their music seemed to have taken life and speak to us directly. The choir part really surprised me as well. The only thing I regret is that we didn't get to hear one of the all-time classics: the blue Danube. =)”
“When the first notes of „Thus spoke Zarathustra“, the soundtrack of my favourite film of all time, sounded through the hall, goosebumps covered my skin and my eyes filled with tears of pure joy. I hoped so truly that they would play it and I just can’t describe the happiness I feel that they actually did.”
“It was certainly an experience that I will vividly remember. A thing I especially liked was that the orchestra tried to make it very entertaining and especially tailored for school classes. Another thing I enjoyed was that they introduced every musical piece and gave a little speech along with it. I appreciate the opportunity and I am very thankful that we got to experience such a wonderful orchestra playing!”
“Watching the famous orchestra The Wiener Philharmoniker perform live was truly an exquisite experience for which I am truly grateful. Their remarkable performance together with the beautiful architecture of the concert hall had my eyes glued to the stage, mesmerised, and enjoying every minute of it. The orchestra’s choice of musical works was an excellent one as it kept the audience attentive throughout all of their performance. It really was a wonderful experience!“
