International Staff

Andrew Charlewood (UK) holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Popular Music. An active composer and musician, he has been working in the Austrian school system since 2002. His professional experience includes English, Music and Biology teaching. He has also worked at the Lower Austria camp for highly gifted pupils. Mr Charlewood joined the Bilingual Programme teaching team in 2007 and was responsible for introducing bilingual education to our Music department. He has become an invaluable supporter of musical events within the school, where he can be regularly seen and heard performing on bass guitar.
Mr Charlewood co-teaches Music and Biology in the Bilingual Programme.

Philip Kmentt (UK and Austria), who is bilingual in English and German, is currently completing his Masters degree in Mathematics. He has work experience in Research Mathematics at the University of Sheffield and at the IST-Austria research institute at Maria Gugging, as well as teaching English at the primary school in Weidling. In September 2025, he joined the Bilingual Programme to co-teach Maths and Physics. He supports his colleagues by concisely explaining mathematical principles in English and enriches the maths classroom by enthusing the students to appreciate that mathematics is important in the world we live in.

With a background in Occupational Therapy, Isabel Krampla (UK) brings a unique perspective to the classroom. After working for a decade in neurology in both the UK and Austria, she has been involved in education since 2006, supporting students in both primary and secondary school settings. Isabel joined the Bilingual Programme in 2023 and currently co-teaches English, Geography, and Biology. She enjoys integrating her therapeutic experience to help students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential. Her approach is rooted in encouragement, adaptability, and fostering confidence, particularly in students who benefit from additional support.

Monica Mishra (India) holds a Master of Science Degree in Biology and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Sciences. She has extensive experience in teaching and enhancing students’ appreciation of science and has an enormous interest in Physics, Biology and Science in general. She joined the bilingual teaching team in 2007 and was responsible for introducing bilingual education to the Physics department. Mrs Mishra enjoys using different methods and mediums to deliver course material.
Mrs Mishra co-teaches Physics, Information Technology and Biology in the Bilingual Programme.

Eoin O’Connor (IRE) holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, Politics, and History, along with a Master of Arts in European History. Along with this, he is a Senior Research Fellow at the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights (EIPRHR). His professional teaching experience includes English, French, History, Politics and Geography teaching. He has worked in schools throughout Austria since 2024. He joined the Bilingual Programme teaching team in September 2025, where he co-teaches History and Geography.

Dr. Helga Petrova holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She has over a decade of experience in academia and industry, specializing in structural biology, cryo-electron microscopy, and X-ray crystallography. Her research has contributed to high-resolution protein structure determination and drug discovery efforts.

Coming from a family of educators, Dr. Petrova has a deep appreciation for teaching. She has worked as a private tutor, helping students improve their mathematics skills, and has experience mentoring university students in biology and programming. 

Dr. Petrova joined the Klosterneuburg Gymnasium IB Program in September 2024, co-teaching Mathematics and Biology. She is eager to inspire students with her passion for science and foster curiosity in STEM subjects. In addition to that, she enjoys integrating her research background into her teaching, fostering scientific curiosity, and helping students develop analytical skills.

Lori Renna Linton (USA) holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English Education. She qualified as a teacher in the State of New York in 1995. Over the last 15 years she has acquired extensive teaching experience in both the private and public sectors. She joined the bilingual teaching team in 2008 and is actively involved in developing the English language and literature programme for all our bilingual students. At our school she also provides oral language-skills coaching in English to individual pupils of the IB Diploma Programme. Mrs Renna Linton co-teaches English in the Bilingual Programme and for the past three years has been teaching English A- Literature in the IB Programme.

Leigh Tueart (UK) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and Financial Management. He is a UEFA B Licensed Football Coach. He has lived in Vienna since 2008 where his experience in the educational system began at the Vienna International School. Mr Tueart has previously worked for the Wiener Fussball Verband within their Boys LAZprogram and latterly as the Leader of their Girls LAZ Program. Alongside his work at the school, he is the current Head Coach of the Wiener Sport-Club Frauen Team competing in the 2. Bundesliga and, recently, founded the girls´ soccer programme for FC SUSA, a football organisation, working with young people to develop football skills within an English-speaking environment.
Mr Tueart co-teaches Sport in the Bilingual Programme.
